Radisson Hotel — Amsterdam South

The question

How do you make a hotel restaurant feel more than functional — and translate the story of the First Natural Art Hotel into visuals that guests can feel before they arrive?

The approach

KOROOTS focused on the material story behind the space: natural stone, organic forms, texture, light, art details and the atmosphere of the restaurant experience. The content was created to strengthen the perception of the hotel as a design-led hospitality destination, not just a place to sleep.

The outcome

The project gained wider visibility through national Dutch television exposure on SBS6 — Design Secrets. It also supported the hotel's positioning within the design and hospitality world, with further recognition and interest from platforms such as Excellent Magazine and the Worldwide Hospitality / Design & Bar Awards circuit.

Retreat / Experience Storytelling

Horse Retreat — Fajah Lourens

The question

How do you sell a retreat experience before people have lived it?

The approach

KOROOTS translated the atmosphere of the retreat into soft cinematic visuals: horses, nature, silence, emotional presence, body language and the feeling of slowing down. The goal was not to explain the retreat, but to make people feel the safety, softness and depth of the experience.

The outcome

The content was used as promotional material for the next retreat edition and gave the organiser a clearer visual language to communicate future retreats and workshops. It created a stronger emotional lead for people considering the next event.

Cultural / Documentary Storytelling

Explore Travels — Women's Power

The question

How do you show a travel experience through real people instead of standard destination marketing?

The approach

KOROOTS created documentary-style content around women, craft, daily life and local culture in Uttarakhand, India. The focus was on human presence, emotional connection and the deeper story behind the place.

The outcome

The content gave the travel experience a more human and meaningful layer — useful for storytelling, brand trust and attracting travellers who connect with culture, authenticity and real encounters.

Jungle Raft River Kwai

The question

How do you translate the feeling of a floating retreat into content that holds attention?

The approach

KOROOTS created a slow, sensory reel around river life, candlelit evenings, natural surroundings and the feeling of disconnecting from the outside world.

The outcome

In its first 2 weeks, one atmosphere-led reel generated 1,471 views, 73 interactions and almost 7 hours of total watch time — showing that even quiet, slow-travel content can create attention when the atmosphere is clear.
